As a rural America intern with the Chicago-based magazine In These Times, I covered important issues outside of urban areas. In addition to profiling artists and activists and covering the 2017 Women's Convention in Detroit, I researched, edited and fact-checked articles and participated in magazine brainstorming meetings.
